About Us

Rig Vitals started from a simple frustration: diagnosing a flaky peripheral usually meant hunting down and installing a different piece of software for every single device — one app for keyboards, another for mice, another for GPUs — half of them outdated, several of them bundled with unrelated junk.

We built Rig Vitals as a single, fast, free place to run those checks entirely in the browser. Every tool on this site runs client-side: your keystrokes, microphone audio, camera feed, and mouse movement are read locally by your browser to draw the live readouts you see, and none of it is uploaded, stored, or sent to a server.

What we believe

Hardware diagnostics shouldn't require an account, a download, or your email address. We keep the tool set free, keep pages fast, and keep data collection to the absolute minimum needed for the site to function — currently just a single local preference (your light/dark theme choice) stored in your own browser.

Who this is for

Gamers checking rollover before a tournament, remote workers confirming their mic and webcam before an important call, and anyone who's ever bought a used peripheral and wanted to know, quickly and for free, whether it actually works.
